Welcome to NUBIIN, the premier social network for the Sudanese community. These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and NUBIIN. By accessing, registering, or using our website or mobile application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.
1. Account Registration and Security
- Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use this platform.
- Account Accuracy: You agree to provide true, accurate, and up-to-date information during the registration process and maintain the accuracy of such data.
- Account Security: You are solely responsible for safeguarding your account password and for all activities, posts, or messages sent through your account.
2. User Conduct and Content Guidelines
NUBIIN is dedicated to providing a safe, respectful, and engaging environment that honors Sudanese societal values. You strictly agree not to post, upload, or share any content that:
- Hate Speech & Abuse: Involves bullying, harassment, defamation, racism, tribalism, or incitement of violence against any individual or group.
- Inappropriate Content: Contains pornography, explicit adult material, nudity, or anything that violates public decency.
- Misinformation & Harm: Spreads false rumors, fake news, or political propaganda aimed at disrupting social peace or safety.
- Spam & Unauthorized Ads: Includes unsolicited commercial messages (Spam), phishing links, or unauthorized advertising without prior written consent from NUBIIN administration.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
- Your Content: You retain ownership of the intellectual property rights for the original content you post on NUBIIN. However, by posting content, you grant NUBIIN a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute your content within the platform.
- Platform Ownership: All logos, graphics, visual designs, source codes, trademarks, and features of the NUBIIN platform remain the exclusive property of NUBIIN and cannot be copied or used without permission.
- Copyright Infringement: You may not post content that infringes upon the copyrights, patents, or intellectual property rights of others.
4. Enforcement and Termination
NUBIIN administration reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to monitor content and take the following actions against any user who violates these Terms:
- Issuing a formal warning via the registered email.
- Removing or editing the violating content immediately without prior notice.
- Restricting or suspending account privileges temporarily (e.g., restricting posting or commenting).
- Permanent Ban: Terminating and deleting the account permanently for severe or repeated violations.
5. Limitation of Liability
- User-Generated Content: NUBIIN acts as a venue for social interaction. The administration does not endorse, verify, or take legal or moral responsibility for any opinions, advice, or content posted by its users.
- Service Availability: While we strive to maintain a seamless experience, NUBIIN does not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free due to necessary maintenance or unforeseen technical issues. We are not liable for any temporary loss of data.
6. Modifications to the Terms
NUBIIN reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of any material changes via the platform or email. Continued use of the platform after updates take effect implies your acceptance of the revised Terms.
